Biography
Thomas Oudman holds a PhD in ecology. He became fascinated by how much we do not know about the plants and animals that we eat, and the ecosystems on which our lives depend. Before switching to journalism, he worked as a postdoc at the University of St Andrews in Great Britain on how migratory animals respond to climate change. His work appeared on The Conversation and in The Guardian.
