Biography

Charles C. Mann is the author, most recently, of “The Wizard and Prophet”. His internationally best-selling books “1491" (2005) and “1493” (2011) have been translated into more than a dozen languages. A correspondent for Science, The Atlantic Monthly, and Wired, he lives with his family in Amherst, Massachusetts. His forthcoming book, True West, is about the lands between the Mississippi and the Pacific.
