Why saving the world is actually really boring

We all want to make the world a better place.

At the end of 2015, I gave a Ted talk arguing that most aid money we donate is not lifting people out of poverty in the long run. But that does not mean that aid is useless.

What it means is that aid should be spend on different types of solutions. And those solutions have one thing in common: they’re pretty boring.
